The Ecamm Live Virtual Camera feature allows you to take the output of Ecamm Live and make it show up as a camera to other apps such as Zoom and Google Hangouts.
Some users are surprised to see that any text or titles they've added in Ecamm Live look mirrored when viewed in other apps.
What's going on?
You might never have noticed it before, but these apps always show the video preview mirrored. The person you're calling will not see you mirrored. The text will look normal to them.
It's true! You can safely ignore the mirrored preview.
Don't believe it? Switch back to your FaceTime camera and check and you'll see.
