Yes, the green screen feature requires a physical green* screen. This feature will not work without a green screen. We recommend Elgato Retractable Green Screen. If this one is unavailable, you can find other highly rated green screens on Amazon.

*Please note Ecamm Live does not have a blue screen feature.
