Ecamm will play a sound when comments arrive. Viewers may hear the sounds if you use speakers during the broadcast, while Ecamm’s echo cancellation feature is deactivated.
To turn off these sounds, follow these steps:
Open Ecamm’s Preferences by choosing Preferences from the Ecamm menu at the top of the screen beside the menu.
Find the General Preferences, then the Play App Sounds checkbox.
Uncheck this box to turn off the app sounds.
