Is there a PC version of Ecamm?
Ecamm is a Mac only software company. We do not have a PC version or have plans to develop one in the future. We recommend Vmix if you are a PC user.
Does Ecamm work on iPhones or iPads?
Since Ecamm is a Mac app and requires a Mac for use, we do not make a version which installs on any iOS or other mobile devices. However, there are two ways that Ecamm works with iOS devices. Please click the below for more information.
Can I use Ecamm on my Mac built before 2020?
While we recommend a Mac from 2020 or newer, Ecamm requires macOS Big Sur or later to run. If your Mac cannot upgrade to macOS Big Sur or later, you will need to use Ecamm on a newer Mac.

What internet speed is required to use Ecamm?
An internet connection with an upload speed of at least 1 Mbps. 4 Mbps is required for HD quality.
How do I check my internet upload speed?
If you're not sure about your upload speed, run an online speed test. Ecamm has a built-in speed test or you can try Ookla's Speedtest.net (for example). When the test is complete, check the value for UPLOAD.
