There are several ways to resize an overlay:
Drag from any edge or corner to adjust the size.
You can also click the overlay and then choose Overlay Bigger or Overlay Smaller (⌘+ and ⌘-) from the Edit menu.
If you’re using a mouse, you can put your cursor over an Overlay and scroll to change the size. If you’re using a trackpad, use the “pinch” or “spread” zooming gestures.
Fitting an Overlay to the Canvas
Right-click or control-click an overlay in the Main Window and choose Resize to Fit Canvas to make it fit inside the canvas. This is useful when you want the whole image or video to remain visible.
To make the overlay cover the canvas instead, choose Resize to Fill Canvas. Some of the image may extend beyond the canvas when the shapes are different.
Overlays can also be cropped.
