Using Multiview

Keep your program, preview, camera sources, and audio levels in view during your production.

Multiview brings several views of your production into one place. It’s handy when you want to watch your program and keep an eye on your cameras and audio without rearranging several windows.

Opening Multiview

Choose Window ➝ Multiview. You’ll see your program, camera source tiles, and audio meters together. When Preview Mode is active, you’ll also see the preview you’re preparing.

Resize the window to fit your workspace. Drag the horizontal divider to change how much room is given to the main views and source tiles.

Using Multiview with Preview Mode

While streaming or recording, turn on Preview Mode in the Main Window. Use Multiview to compare your preview with the current program before clicking Publish.

The green Preview indicator helps you identify the view you’re preparing. Program shows the view being sent to your audience.

Use the Main Window, Scenes window, and Camera Switcher to make changes. Multiview gives you a place to watch those changes together.

Putting Multiview on Another Display

With an Ecamm Pro subscription, choose Outputs ➝ Video Monitor, select a display, and choose Multiview. If you have several displays, you can use one for Multiview and another for Program Output.

To stop a display’s output, choose Off from its Video Monitor menu. Choose All Off to stop every Video Monitor output.

The Multiview window itself is available from the Window menu; sending it full-screen to a Video Monitor display requires Ecamm Pro.
